Why Do People Like To Travel?

As a person who likes to travel, I have not considered this question very deeply. Because I have always been very casual, I want to go where I want to go. When I want to go, I will leave. The inner problem is not the objective factor that can be controlled.

However, with so many years of travel experience, I feel that travel can get some benefits, such as:

1. The harvest of knowledge, no matter where it is, there are scenery, food, humanities, stories, these are not at home, but also can not be personally experienced in reading thousands of books, I have seen beautiful Starry sky, I have seen the sunrise of the snowy mountains, I have eaten super dark dishes, I have heard the experience of the expeditionary heroes killing the enemy, and I have met many inheritors of culture. Therefore, it is often said that reading thousands of books is not as good as traveling thousands of miles, but I don't think so. I think we should read thousands of books on the road of Wanli Road.

2, sensory gains, I have been riding thousands of miles, I walked on the plateau, I traveled in the marathon, did not have a different impact on the sense of travel, tired and happy, disappointed, lost beyond imagination There are amazing things, and more are fine to taste.

3, spiritual gain, do not know why, every time the end of the trip, I will rise to a spiritual realm, I will work harder, I will face life more positively, so, in the eyes of others, I am a Sunshine, self-confident, motivated.

Therefore, I personally believe that the significance of my travel lies in the desire for the unknown, the pursuit of stimulation, and the yearning for a better life. Let's share some photos of my travels to various places in recent years. Every time I have laughter, every time I have a good time.

Framework forms around fledgling US hemp industry

Jun 18, 2019

AURORA, Ore. — A unit of wheat is called a bushel, and a standard weight of potatoes is called a century. But hemp as a fully legal U.S. agricultural commodity is so new that a unit of hemp seed doesn't yet have a universal name or an agreed-upon quantity. That's one example of the startling lack of uniformity — and accountability — in an industry that's sprung up almost overnight since the U.S. late last year removed hemp from the controlled substances list. A global hemp research lab announced Thursday in Oregon, coupled with a nascent national review board for...

Dave Chappelle coming to Broadway. Hide your phone.

Jun 18, 2019

NEW YORK — Dave Chappelle will make his Broadway debut this summer but a word of warning: Ditch the cellphone. Chappelle will perform five shows at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, from July 9 through July 13. The theater has this spring become home for music acts like Morrissey, Yanni and Regina Spektor making their Broadway debuts. Producers issued an unusually blunt warning about anyone trying to film the performance on their phones: All phones will be put in a locked pouch during the show and anyone smuggling one in will be ejected. Chappelle received Grammy Awards for best comedy album in...

North Korea says it's fighting swine fever with quarantine

Jun 18, 2019

SEOUL, South Korea — North Korea said Wednesday it is actively fighting the spread of the highly contagious African swine fever weeks after it reported an outbreak near its border with China. The North's official Rodong Sinmun newspaper said workers around the country were proceeding with "airtight" quarantine efforts to prevent the spread of the disease and ensure safety in livestock production. African swine fever has decimated pig herds in China and other Asian countries. It's harmless to people but is fatal to pigs and has no known cure. There's concern in South Korea that the outbreak in the North...

NEW YORK — The wife of the artist Peter Max has died in a suspected suicide amid a family fight over her husband's work and allegations that he was being exploited. New York City Police say Mary Max, 52, was found dead Sunday in her apartment by her husband's health aide. She had been married since 1997 to Peter Max, whose psychedelic, colorful artworks have sold well since the 1960s. The New York Times published a story two weeks ago detailing legal battles over the work of Peter Max, a prolific creator of art now living with dementia at age...

USDA: Weather delay cuts corn crop to smallest in 4 years

Jun 18, 2019

DES MOINES, Iowa — The U.S. Department of Agriculture has lowered its estimate of this year's corn crop to the lowest in four years, saying wet weather has delayed planting and reduced acres planted and the expected per-acre yield. The expected production was cut in a monthly report released Tuesday by 1.4 billion bushels to 13.7 billion bushels, the lowest since 2015. While weather problems also have slowed soybean planting, the USDA didn't change estimates since farmers have several more weeks to plant. The USDA will release a report June 28 to provide updated farmer surveys more accurately reflecting the...
